The Vance Center's Human Rights and Access to Justice Program has grown with the recent addition of Milena Klimberg van Marrewijk.
Milena Klimberg van Marrewijk joined the Vance Center in December 2024 as a Program Advisor to the Human Rights and Access to Justice Program.
Milena brings extensive experience in international law to her new role. Before joining the Vance Center, Milena worked at UNDP’s Rule of Law, Human Rights and Security team, where she focused on people-centered justice. Previously, Milena worked at international law firms in Paris and Buenos Aires, representing clients in investment and commercial arbitration cases, with a focus on Latin America.
Admitted to practice in Buenos Aires, Milena received her JD degree cum laude from the University of Buenos Aires. She also holds an LLM in International Legal Studies from NYU, where she was a Human Rights and International Law Scholar. She is a native Spanish and French speaker, and conversational in Portuguese.
