The Vance Center’s Women in the Profession program participated in the 16 days of activism against violence against women and girls campaign, culminating on International Human Rights Day. Originating at the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute, the campaign kicks off every November 25th, the International Day to Eliminate Violence against Women, and runs until December 10th, International Human Rights Day.

The Women in the Profession Program has produced two reports — Economic Violence  and A new COVID crisis: Domestic Abuse Rising in Latin America — related to violence against women and recently worked with client  Violetta a virtual chatbot that identifies and helps women who have been victims of violence. This year, eight national chapters of the program participated in the campaign, describing some of their work to raise awareness on ending violence against women.
