Vance Center Produces Assessments of Judicial Independence in 4 Latin American Countries

Over the last two months, the Vance Center, in coordination with the Latin American Federation of Judges (FLAM) and local judges’ associations, produced country-specific assessments of judicial independence in Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia, building on a series that kicked off with the first assessment, of Bolivia, in March 2023. Access to Justice Practicum Selects Lawyers from Argentina and Mexico for Third Cohort

The Vance Center and Pro Bono Network of the Americas clearinghouse partners in Argentina and Mexico are pleased to announce the two lawyers selected for the third cohort of our Access to Justice Practicum.  The two practitioners will work for one year with the Comisión de Trabajo Pro Bono e Interés Público (Comisión Pro Bono) and Centro Mexicano Pro Bono, respectively.
